LOL...first thing I want to say is "I can't stand citizenbane". He always lowball Hulk. I had a 34 page debate and he did nothing but dismiss his fts. He also doesn't like Hyperion as well. I'm glad Hickman put him in his place.

So its finally confirmed that he survived the two universe explosions? Because people on comicvine were saying it was a domino effect.

I think the ppl in comicvine are suffering from the dominial effect.

comicvine fanboys loves to downplay alot people from marvel or image comics but overhyped dc comics if you seen there debates this is a new cool fact of hyperion survived the two universe explosions! and all they can say is domino effect? 🤨 wow.

To be fair, there was evidence of a domino effect. It comes down to interpretation, it seems. Or it did, until Hickman.

That is true...

They "evidence" they presented was a bit thin and required a bit of reaching, IMO.

Glad that it's been completely refuted, tho.

But I'm sure we can both agree that Hyperion punched the Hulk out of Banner in 2 panels, right? 😈

Has this Hyperion done anything recently besides fighting Hulk?

That didn't happen.

I don't know about comicvine(although it's likely based on their Marvel-hate), but people on KMC were doing something similar as well.

I am still not wholly sure whether that bit which I posted on CO was actual evidence of Hickman clarifying something, or Hickman simply dismissing a battleboarder's lame attempt to confirm his worst nightmare.

Franklin Richards for example was a tricky case in Fantastic Four # 604. Everyone initially thought that he was killed in the final battle against the Mad Celestials and then got resurrected by Galactus, but when asked multiple times to clarify this point, Hickman continually dismissed the notion. I think we should wait for something similar to happen with Hyperion as well before jumping to conclusions.

I honestly think that until we get some elaboration, people are free to take from it what they will.

Hyperion isn't going to be around much longer if he can't be hurt by anything less than two universes colliding. People just get out of hand at times.

TBH, I'm expecting something of an explanation on the next issue(s) like "being in the core of the destruction of the universes protected him from being destroyed himself" kinda plot stupidity to explain away how Hypie survived the explosion. But if they let this "feat" stand, then it'd be the high end of high end feats for herald levelers in both durability and strength.

You mean some sort of "eye of the storm" kind of thing?

Yeah.

Don't know where people are getting the idea of domino effect. They would need some concrete proof in order for that to be true. The explosion happened, everything was wiped out. There was nothing stated or shown on panel indicating a domino effect. It was written in Primes comic that a domino effect took place but the same didn't happen in this comic. Just accept it and move on. The guy withstood the blast and " the writer confirmed this".
