Moses 1:39 (God speaking)

39 For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

God helps them who helps themselves

What we would call god would help you in what you imagine yourself to be.......If you imagine yourself in need, then you will only get that "Only need"........If you imagine god is saying to you "You can be what you imagine yourself to be", than god or what we call call would creatively create that for you.................We are part of THIS creative process.....you are what you think/imagine you are........simple.

Doctrine and Covenants 88:118-126

118 And as all have not faith, seek ye diligently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom; seek learning, even by study and also by faith.
119 Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;
120 That your incomings may be in the name of the Lord; that your outgoings may be in the name of the Lord; that all your salutations may be in the name of the Lord, with uplifted hands unto the Most High.
121 Therefore, cease from all your light speeches, from all laughter, from all your lustful desires, from all your pride and light-mindedness, and from all your wicked doings.
122 Appoint among yourselves a teacher, and let not all be spokesmen at once; but let one speak at a time and let all listen unto his sayings, that when all have spoken that all may be edified of all, and that every man may have an equal privilege.

This is my religions view on the attitude that education should take, as well as any other serious venture. I like it.

In other words kind of like evolving....

Please post references along with the text of the scripture. How's someone supposed to read more if they like your scripture if you don't.

What...you don't know where god says say "I AM?"........

The name Yahweh (YHWH) tells us what God is in Himself: "I AM THAT I AM" or "I AM" or "I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE". This sacred name of God represents what God is in His essential nature- “He is”-no argument; simply stating the fact that “God is”. Though I don't believe that what I would call god is a him....It only means IT IS...

I apologize docb7, my #2 wes from the US Declaration of Independance.

Yeah, I recognized that one, and I definitely do consider it a sacred document, so it fits great on this thread.

* if you believe in God, or if you believe there is a God, then you should call God as "HE", and not "IT"... am i right? 😛

Nope..........because a god wouldn't need sexual organs.....There would be no purpose for it unless you feel god has sex up there and always takes a wizzzzzzzz.......So answer me this....What would god do with this sexual organ??

but is god XX or XY? Thats where the real distinction comes in

* calling God a "HE" does not mean God has sexual organs... you mix God and a human... God is far more different than a human... 😉

* God is called "The Father" because all things, living or non-living, was made and created by him... Christ, His Son, calls Him "Father"... and the term "father" is masculine... 😉

* ooops, sorry, i forgot you don't that Jesus is Christ or the Messiah... well, it's up to you... 😛

Einstein was wrong? 😆 I never realyl liked mayn of hsi religous positoins. But meh...its not the worst thing in the world.

Einstein also believed that religion was more etherial....not really a god, but more an sense of awe. This is often misninterpreted by many that dont' know the subtleties of what he meant. Which many people do becuase he is a pop-figure.

Im not trying to accuse here.
