Cubs go with a little "anything you can do I can do better" move and pick up Harden and Gaudin from the A's which really gives them a lot of depth in their rotation/pen.

I think it's funny that the Sixers who are usually the worst of the 4 Philly teams can somehow get Brand but the Phillies couldn't get CC or Harden. I kind of want Bedard but he has been pretty terrible lately. Maybe the Royals decide to trade Zack Greinke, I would like to have him.

Yep, their shopping him for a young SS with potential.

Burnett is hit or miss. Ive seen him blow goats, and then pitch some of the best games.

Josh Hamilton is kinda good.

That round he just had in the Derby was ****ing amazing. I was yelling when he the back wall of the stadium. 😱

Josh Hamilton is a savage, 28 home runs in a single round(all time record) I can't remember the last time a non Yankee (excluding ex Yankees) was cheered like that.

You could tell he looked tired in the second round when he only took a couple of swings. I was surprised his BP pitcher didn't get tired he had to have thrown close to 100 pitches and he was around 75 years old I think.

Crazy All-Star game. Can't believe Lidge ending up losing it, but IMO it's all whoever voted Wagner onto the team's fault because he is absolutely terrible. I knew he would do bad if he pitched. Wagner had no business being on the team.

I loved the overrated chant when Papelbon was on the mound. The opening ceremony was a great touch. I would have felt bad for Uggla after hitting into that double play and then making two errors in a row and then the NL walked the next dude so it was bases loaded with no outs because of Uggla.

I think they should sign him. He said he his willing to take a prorated portion of the league minimum salary and then have 100% of it donated to purchase tickets for kids to go to baseball games. Being as cheap as it is, and being NY where no one is bigger than the team I dont see a real big downside here. Damon has been hurt, posada is hurt, matsui is hurt. I think its worth a shot.
