Ummm Designers?

So I'm going for an interview soon for a Design degree and I was wondering if anyone knew of any prominent designers from the last century or so? Because I haven't a clue... 😄

what type of Design?

Again not sure, I know loads about Fashion designers but it seems more like furnitue, textiles, etc
