The part that no one seems to be taking issue with, is that for the last two years, Bush and Co. have been saying the above. Now that it's Bush's ass on the line, it's all about the president's right to declassify information at his own discretion. If the whole thing was on the up and up, the administration would have been saying it's the president's right to declassify information two years ago. It's just like his position that now, three years later, he never said Saddam was somehow connected to the events of 9/11. Well if he never intended the implication, he wouldn't have waited three years to put it to rest.
