Superboy Prime vs. Genis

2 crazies battle it out . . . . well, who wins?

Now THIS would be an amazing crossover battle. Insane Genis-Vell vs Superboy Prime with the Anti-Monitor plating. I think, personally, that this fight would go on forever. I think though that Genis would come out in the end, but only by a hair.

Tough fight. SBP is faster (speedblitzing 3 Flashes) , easily stronger and his punches would cut through any of Genis' shields like butter (Phantom Zone punch). On the other hand, Genis is insanely versatile but he would need to act quick to avoid losing his head. I lean towards Prime.

someone please tell me (with scans would be nice, or issue numbers) just what genis has done to possibly place him on the level of sbp? and please don't bring up his rather laughable 'owning' of king thor. that was a complete and utter NON-fight. how anyone claimed he OWNED king thor is utterly beyond me . . .

You mean besides owning King Thor? Well, recently he was holding himself back from not causing the end of the universe.

Well, Genis could break spatial barriers without flinching plus there is always Cosmic Awareness to put him one step ahead of SBP.

Actually it does. It was shown in the fight between the Asgardians and the two Storm giants. Plus he was able to prevent his uber-powerful son from unleashing the Magus by killing him on his crib.

Are we going by with his photon/crazy genis state of power and feats or just captain marvel?

His cosmic awareness grew to the point where he could see all possible futures but he had a hard time figuring out which would happen. The reason he went insane in the first place was because of the overload of information. He failed to save a person who would have brought peace to the entire galaxy. Plus, he could also use it to know his opponents moves in battle as seen in these scans.

And even the showing in Asgard is impressive. He one shotted one of the Storm Giants who Thor and Asgard were having trouble with.

In order to kill him, Zemo with both moonstones still needed outside help to trap him in the darkforce dimension where he dispersed his molecules all throughout space and time. That's what was needed to kill him. Any other way would have resulted in him healing himself.

Im bias towards genis, cause I was a big fan of his dads mar-vell..........

He also has the power to raise the dead.

Superboy prime is a beast the guy is like pre-crisis supes which means even if Genis can destroy the universe superboy prime could still win he did survive the speed force didn't he?

good info, gents, thanks. seems like at his peak he was one more overpowered, pis-wielding marvel abstract level cosmic. is there anyone in the MU that CAN'T destroy a universe anymore? too bad -- mar-vell was a truly cosmic character as well, but NOT overpowered and ultimately one of the great characters in marvel history.

but isn't this the same character who was ko'd by . . . was it atlas (??) in a fairly recent thunderbolts? getting rid of the pis-genis, i don't think he would be close to sbp. the insane genis sounds like he would be beyond even sbp in his armor and beyond even most (all??) universal abstracts.

Genis takes this 10/10. They made him too powerful..destroying universes on a whim,,omniversal telepathy, existing in all times...just..wow.

The only reason why Genis why his CA didnt see the beatdown that Atlas was about to do was because of the influence of a seriously amped, Overmind-powered Purple man (and Zemo of course).

The real PIS on Genis' character is the way he was depowered on the New T-Bolts just so he could fit in.

The most recent version of Genis, Photon was actually the extension of Crazy Genis power level without the craziness. He was bound to destroy the universes in all possible timelines and was doing things like opening spacial rifts, holes in time, etc, trapping people in time, existing simultaneously at different times, breaks the laws of physics, etc ala Time Trapper without all that evil
