lol. well, i dont think all emos do such a thing but i do know the majority of the Emos insist on telling everybody that they are depressed....which in most cases they are not.

I truely suffer from mild depression (just like my mom and sister it runs in my family).......I do not claim to be fully emo because I am more of a freak than anything....I don't care what people think of me defending emos......I will do what I feel is right.......and if that means getting bashed by people that think their $#!+ don't stink that's fine with me 😄

And 'emo' doesn't mean emotional, it means 'emotive hardcore' which is a genre of music, an offshoot of punk which started in the late 80's and early 90's. Now it's popularly used to (incorrectly) describe bands such as Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional and My Chemical Romance... and their fans who like to cut their wrists because their life 'sucks', whine about how their parents hate them, wear black, Chucks, band tshirts, eyeliner and girl pants. That is what the stereotypical modern Emo kid is.
I also have no respect for them as I have a friend who is a manic depressive, has attempted suicide countless times and I was there and nearly watched her f*cking die. So a big f*ck you to everyone who's more or less faking it for attention!
That being said, if you really are depressed, get some help by seeing a counsellor at school or talking to someone or something.
EMO kids are retarded. They think their lives are depressive but they don't know shit:

I would know, my girlfriend used to be depressive, and trust me depressed people dont' talk about their shit just to anybody, like EMO kids do. The reason why depression is so serious is because it's something that people dont' show on the surface. Thats why it's such a dangerous medical condition to have. EMO kids are just kids seeking attention...
