I think this ends up a stalemate, unless Surfer let's Mangog get a hold of him, which I don't think he will do.
I think Surfer would just keep blasting him from far away, and Mangog has shown that he can take all kinds of energy and magic punishment from everybody from Thor to Odin.

Only way I see Surfer winning this is by trapping him in an energy construct (which he'd break almost immediately) or battle field removal.

Mangog is waaaaaaaay out of SS League. If had even above average intelligence he might be the second most powerful non-abstract in MU.

I think Surfer would have to literally fly down Mangog's throat to win.
Early Mangog even showed to have matter manipulation and energy manipulation powers.

There is a lot more to him than recent showings gave him credit for.

Basically, he is kind of like Marvel's version of Validus or something.
