E3 2006 -- Official thread!

Oh come on. GTA has been released twice (maybe 3 times) on the XBOX. What's the difference between this game and the last ones.

Funny thing, if anybody rememeber playign the original GTA, PS2 GTA doesnt feel that same. (Even if its in 3d)

so here's a question: why the hell was spielberg at E3 this year?

no idea.. jaws unleashed? anything todo with transformers there? i saw a pic of optimus prime at e3... didnt hear anything abotu a game and spielburgs helping out with teh live action movie.

Maybe he was interested in whats going on.

You know, some people do have other hobbies than what theyre careers are, even if its Spielbergh.

They're was rumors that Terantino was a huge HL fan and CS fan, and was interested in doing an HL movie, which would be kinda of neat.

well man, gta 3 was a completely different game than the other ones. the third person view changed it a lot.

about gta, i'm just used to playing it on a ps2, would be sacrilige to play on a microsoft console😛

Not really. It's still the same game, just in 3d. The same type of missions, shooting people, driving around, getting chased by cops. It's still the same game.

w/e, it changed the game completely for me and most likely everyone else thats played both of them. the premise was the same yeah, but the game itself was changed immensely.

I'd have to agree with that.

What changed so drastically?

That you move in 3d? That you drive in 3d? And shoot in 3d?
It's just a different viewpoint, not different game. But the point is that the game was originally on the PC, so when somebody says that is wrong to play GTA on the XBOX, its actually more wrong to play GTA on the PS2.

Would you agree than that Super Mario 64 isnt an Mario game then?
