whats this movie called??

I saw this movie in the 80's. its a horror movie where this dude who looks like King Diamond (if u know the singer u know what he looks like) goes around and kills people with a B.C Rich Beast guitar, or something. i know its a red guitar and that its a B.C Rich guitar. if anyone has a idea what this B movie is called let me know something. thank you.

Only thing that comes to mind..which probably ain't it..

only thing that comes to my mind is trick or treat where Ozzy makes a chamo and the guy comes to life through a recording or something like a old record that was never played and goes to this kid given to him by gene simmons and the guys fav rocker comes back to life.
