Those eyes...
Shisui leapt above the second leg maneuver, coming down just as Raiden rose. Again their eyes met. Shisui knew he had to shrug his curiosity if he was to concentrate, and so he focused on the movements of Raiden's body, keeping his own eyes away from his opponent's.
Their arms moved in such a rhythmic punch-block-grasp pattern that Shisui could have imagined someone watching thinking "Have they fought before?" Of course, Raiden's style was utterly different than anything Shisui had encountered. It was fast, elegant, but...somehow, it seemed so paced, so slow in wearing Raiden down.
Shisui...well, he'd simply built up enough stamina and endurance to overcome the standard limitations. But for how long? If this kept up, they'd be at it for a while.
Shisui pivoted with his right heel, wrapping it around behind Raiden's own, and sped up his arm movement, beating precisely until he finally found a tiny gap--and pushed, hard. And yet he didn't feel Raiden's foot bump his, and he knew he'd placed it wrong, so he simply kept up his arms. Keeping his legs down and ready, eyes open.
