His hands found the ground, the staff clutched within them, and Shisui's entire body bent to keep himself upright--upside down. Flipping himself forward and back to his feet, he took a swift side swipe at Raiden while propelling himself in a flip over his head, a move he had learned in strenuous acrobatics exercises. He kept the mid of the bo close to block or catch and quick attacks as he spiralled overtop Raiden.

"My father wants me to be under his command,,, Ashitaka, you may have met him. I dont mind, it gives me time to hone my shinobi skills." He smiled and sat down.

Raiden had caught the bow staff by wrapping the numb-chucks around it. They both froze, Raiden starring Shisui through his straw hat. He smiled and whispered, "and here is where I excell." He turned the bo staff loosening Shisui's grip. When the staff was loosened, Raiden through the staff behind him, his numb-chucks still tied on. Raiden stepped back; his fists in balls ready to strike. "Your move, yet again..."

Shisui's face didn't seem to show any more emotion than before, and in the most stoically icy voice he said simply, "And this is where I excel."

Launching himself at Raiden, his arms were a blurr of movement, grace and power. His right hand worked inside Raiden's guard at his chest while his left batted at his defenses in a rhythmic pattern. His legs waited. They were deadly, and were used only at their own time.

Raiden moved with a matching grace and authority, blocking every single blow that was dealt to him. He continued this rythmic pattern, sliding in a few blows himself hoping to find the moment when one of them faltered. Steady breathes, Raiden he remembered his teacher's words, remember this free style of fighting must be slow but firm. You will surly fall if you quicken your pace. Raiden broke the rythm but dropping to the ground and landing on his hands. In continuous motions he pressed one foot forward and then another, following through by turning his body from one side to the next hoping to trip his opponent if not create some space. Although Raiden did not show it for his breathing was calm and his eyes were hidden behind his straw hat, he had already lost focus on his breathing...

"Synn Kaede? You are being summoned to the main hall" An older student stood behind, waiting patiently for the boy to respond. As he finished feeding the bird which perch on a branch before him, Synn thought about his choices. He could run now and refuse the life of a warrior as he always had, or he could stay and learn how to protect the ones he loved, and perhaps find those he had lost. But was it worth it, all the blood being split? What would he change becoming a student here? Then again, what would - or more likely. could - he be able to do if he ran away again?

"Kaede. The masters are waiting to speak to you." Sighing as he stood, Synn looked straight into the eyes of an annoyed journeyman. "Let's go then."

I've heard of him..*He chewed on the stalk some more* Some great stories i've heard..*Raiko leaned back against the tree and sighed* The Test's are coming up soon..I just recently arrived, and I need to study..

Shisui flopped backwards onto his back, swooping his legs around his legs up through the spinning Raiden's own and then down under them, knocking out his hands to halt the movement. Propelling himself back up to his feet in a crouch, he waited for Raiden to rise or strike. Had he been an enemy, hitting when down wouldn't have been an issue, but they were students.

Raiden, instead of flipping backwards leaving him open for a surprise attack, rolled to the side. In the motion of turning he rolled off the ground into the air. In doing so he lost his straw hat, and what stared at Shisui surprised him in a very subtle way. Shisui was starring at a short white haired boy. But most importantly were his eyes: grey clouded-white. They were as hypnotizing as they were piercing. Raiden however did not take time to answer the possible inquiries his opponent may have had.

Walking forward, moving into an offensive stance, he begin passing punches with Shisui again. Each one blocking and recountering one another, this fight seemed to last forever. Raiden's motions where once again paced and synchronized so that his heart would never rise a beat. He once again tried his kicking motion, remembering not to stay on the ground long.

Those eyes...

Shisui leapt above the second leg maneuver, coming down just as Raiden rose. Again their eyes met. Shisui knew he had to shrug his curiosity if he was to concentrate, and so he focused on the movements of Raiden's body, keeping his own eyes away from his opponent's.

Their arms moved in such a rhythmic punch-block-grasp pattern that Shisui could have imagined someone watching thinking "Have they fought before?" Of course, Raiden's style was utterly different than anything Shisui had encountered. It was fast, elegant, but...somehow, it seemed so paced, so slow in wearing Raiden down.

Shisui...well, he'd simply built up enough stamina and endurance to overcome the standard limitations. But for how long? If this kept up, they'd be at it for a while.

Shisui pivoted with his right heel, wrapping it around behind Raiden's own, and sped up his arm movement, beating precisely until he finally found a tiny gap--and pushed, hard. And yet he didn't feel Raiden's foot bump his, and he knew he'd placed it wrong, so he simply kept up his arms. Keeping his legs down and ready, eyes open.

Raiden saw the inquisitive look in his opponents eyes, but struggled to focus aswell. He noticed that his opponents movements were beginning to quicken. But Raiden continued to meet each bunch and block. Raiden was hoping that his opponent would let up before he would, and his moment arrived. Seeing that fault that Shisui placed in attempting to trip him, it was obvious that Shisui would try to back away inorder to raise a defense. However Raiden grabbed the outstretched arms, and lunged back bringing his enemy with him. He flipped the enemy over from a roll like state and pressed down on Shisui's chest compressing his back against the dirt floor.

Raiden landed on his knees infront of Shisui. However, the strain of the previous action was too much for his heart to endure, and he immidiatly grabbed his chest and spat a droplet of blood.

[I got to go]

Tien was lying next to Camille, is left arm under his head to he could get a better look at the sky, his crippled right arm resting on his chest. "Your father is very strong, but it seems he gets a little carried away at times." Tien said lazily. He turned his head so that he could look at Camille. "Does your arm still hurt?" Tien said sounding more polite then concerned.

{ I suppose ive given up waiting for Kim for the time being sweatdrop }

Chou was walking silently through the garden. Her senses percieved all. She came across a young guy and girl lay in the sun. She kept quiet, just staring blankly at the passing clouds.

*Raiko suddenly snapped his eyes open. The aura had returned, but stronger this time, as if walking around the grounds. He grunted and closed his eyes again, waiting to see what would happen next. He put his back against the tree and kept his swords beside him*
