as far as i can tell, the only essential members are iron man and silver surfer. iron man's plasma disc is unbelievable, and surfer's time slow ability as well.
deadpool (for is "spin around in circles" attack), thor (for his god speed), iceman (for the freeze beam), and human torch (for the fire pop-up to multi fireball combo) usually rounded out my other two slots.
i'm still sort of experimenting. anyone convince me i need another character?
yeah, it's pretty lame. especially the severe lack of character customization. you can't even allocate stat points. it also bothers me that virtually no thought went into the villains. winter soldier teaming up with radioactive man, and the best they can do is "doom told them to do it"? that's stupid.

Yeah, the game isn't really THAT great, but its good. Very, very fun. I agree that the character interaction is bad, though, but that is not what it was meant for.
I like playing with Fantastic Four very much, but Captain America (And his INSANE shield, it goddamn has its own mind) is my favorite, so I probably have to make my Captastic Four (MY TEAM NAME!) soon with Cap in place of Thing. Human Torch's flamethrower and Reed Richards are just so great. I'll probably put Silver Surfer in the place of Invisible Woman when I get him. And gotta have Beta Ray Bill too. Too many characters to choose for perfect team...
Oh, anyone has this for PC? Let's play online sometime. 😛
I think my final team will be Captastic Four with Captain America, Silver Surfer, Beta Ray Bill and Ghost Rider. Depends if their abilities are fun.

Cap's shield is pretty insane lol, I think it works exactly the same way in the comics really IMO...
Sheesh, when Cap throws his shield while fighting a large group of guys, the shield swoops and incap/disarm like 3 or 4 guys while Cap himself is over fighting 5 others, INSANE indeed.
Also I have the PC version as well 😱
What do you guys think are the best moves/characters? IMO Deadpool is one of the best characters in the game, pretty much for his devastating slash attack and his sub machine gun fire. Of course SS is very powerfull (Over powered) His comic beam, the transmutation beam and "surfer's fury" are very effective. Only thing he lacks IMO is melee damage.

Captain America is pretty high up there, as was said earlier, his shield is INSANE 😆

-Thing's regular outfit has a pick of Ult. Thing and Ult. Thing has a pick of his modern outfit
-Same for Ult. Cap and 616 Cap

Thor's hammer throw is very effective in small corridors 🙂 It owns to have him throw the hammer at a huge pack of enemies through them. 🙂
