Ep II DvD

I feel the AOTC DVD is not as great as the TPM DVD. It all feels a bit like one big commercial. THe docs are allright, but in so many ways' it's very much like the TPM DVD, but the menu's aren't that well thought out of as the TPM one...

Is it just me?

I feel it didn't show the most interesting deleted scenes either.

It certainly hasn't built on the TPM one to anything greater. And this time around there were simply not many interesting scenes that could be reasonably added (nice as it would be if they extended existing ones).

The Jedi Temple Hangar was cool, though... if not entirely finished.

the intro to dvd 2 is absolutely smashing, the best I've ever seen on any dvd in my lifetime. but you're right that its not AS good as the first. as have been said it lacks the general documentary that covers the filming from start to finish, like The Beginning on TPM.

Yup! Missed that greatly. I loved The Beginning. Especially when they lost Liam's beard.

The two docu's on AOTC are still really good.

it is a very nice DvD......I haven't watched the second documentary, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first.
What feature did you like best?

Puppets to Pixels I guess... that was a good look behind the scenes, with the illustrious Widowmaker shot.

But all in all, it was indeed not as inspired as the TPM DVD was.... too bad. The bloopers were fun, but here too, no CGI bloopers. It seems like they didn't want to make too much of an effort on this DVD. My favourite blooper is the one where Jango falls off the wet soundstage. 😄

Excellent. They should make a new "Singing in the rain" clip of all of those shots, including the one with the umbrella.

I haven't gotten a chance to see the gag reel.....but I did listen to the AOTC comentary and it was pretty good.
