"We have to get out of here." Naminè said.
Hayner lifted his solemn head from his shoulders. He stood up, and brushing the water from his eyes with his elbow, radiated confidence. Roxas looked at his friend, eager to hear what the older boy had to say.
But Hayner didn't say anything. Instead, he approached the stone walls and pressed his ear against the cold stone walls. The room was chilly, and had a sense of foreboding. Roxas hoped Hayner could hear a trace of something, of anything really.
Hayner turned back to the two nobodies and frowned, "Nothing but that weird machinery."
Roxas spirits dampened. Then he heard the roar again, as if adding insult to injury. The cracks in the stone walls didn't look promising, and Roxas made to get up, but Namine' was still embracing him. He made to move away, feeling slightly uncomfortable, but the embrace felt comforting.
The third roar was enough to cause Hayner to grow tense.
"Man I know these walls are pretty thick, but I'm not too sure that they can hold whatever the heck is making that noise!" He said pointing to the wall. Roxas nodded. He lifted Namine up onto her feet, balancing her and began leading his friends to any way out. He could hear the low chirpings, high whistling, and strange laughs from the heartless that were undoubtedly in the castle, but he didn't know which way would be the safest route. If the situation had occured, Roxas would depend on Namine's help. She seemed to be a more intuitive nobody than he was.
"So what do you guys think?" Roxas asked his two friends.
