that's inaccurate. current mangog has NOT shown the ability to get stronger at all. thor battled him for a long while h2h and he never increased in strength -- at least not according to narration or text.
mangog could and would certainly win a few, but (aside from the o-so-compelling-argument that mangog is 'really powerful' 🙄 ) i see no reason not to think hulk could get his share as well. they are very similar characters in reality.

an entire race of gods? 😕
they were an alien race that odin defeated and banished. they weren't gods . . .
as i said -- when he first manifested he was very powerful. odin was still more powerful (and could have beat him anytime by shutting him off from his power . . .) but mangog was something of a threat.
since that first time 'round, he has been portrayed as LESS powerful than that. he doesn't get stronger (at least that has never been stated) nor has it been stated that he 'feeds' off hate. there is a great deal of confusion about where his power actually comes from and it has never been stated what the source is definitively. he may absorb psychic energy, but again, no evidence to say that nor was he getting stronger against thor. lately, mangog has been shown to be a very strong, tough brute.
hulk's specialty. 😉
in any event, it is most cretainly not a quick or easy fight for either.
