Michael Savage's solution: Murder 100 million people

Started by BackFire3 pages

If Michael Savage was one of these 100 million people it might be worth it.

Michael Savage is a great name...kind of like Max Power

for those of you who don't know, his real name is michael weiner and he is a nutritionalist and former friend of alan ginsberg and lawrence ferlengetti who one day began threatening his freinds with guns and became a right wing radio host under the name michael savage so he could make money. He's insanely popular and my point in posting this thread was pointing out this country's standards. The FCC regulates the airwaves (which by definition are "public space"😉 and censors violence, but with the exception of NPR and Air america, they won't let you have a radio show unless you are to the right of hitler.

Well we had Howard Stern for awhile and that was enjoyable family programming🙂

Yeah, not practical....but still....also, if someone was in charge who wouldn't cheat....could work out.

That's what Marx used to think. Unfortunately, the concept of the benevolent dictator/leader never works out, even for a purge lottery scenario.

I wouldn't say that's all true....

I would. You give any one man absolute power and he abuses it, even if his original intention is good. Look at Oliver Cromwell, for instance.

Err.... one instance is not proof that it is always like that...

When did Marx say there should be an absolute ruler or a dictator?

i would laugh off savage's rant if bush was not planning the same.
a coincidence would be all the hinting of keeping the nuclear (nuKuLer) option "on the table", as well as bush's plans to invade iran (though we are supposed to believe he will tolerate and allow diplomacy for the time being), not to mention renewed nuclear testing in nevada's proving grounds come early june.

looks like freedom may come in the form of a mushroom cloud.

Marx noted that during the transition period going from old world order to the new one, a benevolent dictator or ruling body would be neccessary to make sure that everything went according to plan before putting the power in the hands of the working class.

100 million would conotate that bush would take out tehran, any nuclear sites in Iran, Moscow, Beijing, Minsk, Islamabad, Kapustin Yar/Znamensk, about 100 little russian villages, about as many chinese nuclear sites, Minsk, and Pyonyang.
So like, 300 Patriot missiles, no threat of world war III, 100-300 million dead, full spectrum dominance for the US, no electricity for the eastern hemisphere. several species of animals completely extinct. Irreparable environmental damage, earthquakes and volcanoes all over the world and at least 400 million additional deaths worldwide from radiation sickness and cancer.
GO DUBYA!!! GO SAVAGE!!!

SOleran>"No it doesn't, or it could be that I don't just don't have that vision you are attempting to stir."
Then I suggest you go read up on Hitlers rhetorics.

Darth Jello> Who controls this FCC?

PVS> Bush wants to begin nuclear testing again?
In 1963, all nuclear and many non-nuclear states signed the Limited Test Ban Treaty, pledging to refrain from testing nuclear weapons in the atmosphere, underwater, or in outer space. The treaty permitted underground tests. France continued atmospheric testing until 1974, while China continued up until 1980. The last underground test by the United States was in 1992, the Soviet Union in 1990, the United Kingdom in 1991, and both France and China continued testing up until 1996. After adopting the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty in 1996, all of these states have pledged to discontinue all nuclear testing. Non-signatories India and Pakistan both last tested nuclear weapons in 1998.

The current FCC chairman is former bush-cheney campaign advisor Kevin Martin who is also advised by five comissioner's one of whom is vacant. They are also heavily influenced by threats from the religious right and corporate bribes.

Darth Jello> A former Bush-Cheney advisor, who also…?? Where’s Michael Moore?? (-looks around rather speechlessly.)

Re: Michael Savage's solution: Murder 100 million people

Marxist parents? Here I was thinking people had overcome the whole Marx-phobia. Funny to tie them in with bizare pseudo religious/political, what with the whole "no religion thing."

And the US isn't standing up to Muslims? Gee, if two concurrent military operations in the Middle East is the US not doing anything to in the Islamic region I would hate to see what his idea of doing something actually looks like. Oh, doing something would be having a whack at purges, a bit of lite genocide.

People who say the world is to crowded and/or to hostile and suggest extermination as a solution should give the example by blowing their own brains out.
