Goku wouldn't have won if he never took the power from his friends. Besides, Broly managed to scrap Goku and his people while only being Super Saiyan level 1. Plus he doesn't even know any form of martial arts, he just punches wildly and throws them around.

* in the movie, yes... a fully powered Broly is equivalent of the combined power of Son Gokou, Son Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo...

* in the DBZ series, Son Gokou attained the level of Super Saiyan 3... i think the SSJ3 Son Gokou can defeat Broly... SSJ3 Son Gokou got the strength, firepower and martial arts to boot... a fully powered Broly could never top that...

Broli would own SSJ3 Gokou. Broli had to keep wasting energy just to be able to control it. I still say Broli wasn't beat by Gokou. The blast was green that erupted. I say Broli's power overflowed to much for him to control. Gokou just punched at the same time. No way logically Gokou could of won against a guy who blew off energy cause he had to.

* bro, you just said the magic word: "control"... SSJ3 Son Gokou has it but Broly doesn't... so SSJ3 Gokou would win... 😉

* another thing, Gokou got more arsenal to throw at Broly, he got more technique (kaioken, spirit ball, dragon punch, etc.), he studied martial arts (his moves: his punches, kicks, even the Kamehame Wave)... and not to mention, Gokou's incredible durability... 😱

* Broly only knows how to fire blasts (i mean, huge ball of energy), grapple/torture, anger himself (but ironically, grins evilly after that), and mutter "Kakkarotto..." now that's a winner? nope... 😮

* here's SSJ3 Son Gokou's Dragon Punch... kinda literal dragon punch... 😛

O yes i like Broly he is a great Saiyin but Goku is better and so is SSJ.3 Son Goku's, Goku could kill Broly at SSJ.2 if he wanted. Am i right ?..
