This sucks. I tried to find the soundtrack to the movie today and apparently there's none. I did some research on it and apparently that's because most of the music in the movie is taken straight from the game, so I guess that didn't warrant a CD soundtrack or something. At least I wish they could've released one anyway, even if it was just a collection from the various games. Oh well.

Some of the songs that stood out, at least the one's I would've looked forward to in the CD, would've been:

- that banjo type song that begins right at the opening credits
- that male vocal song that plays as Sharon is about to jump off the cliff
- Alessa's main theme, which is that piano theme
- and a whole bunch of eerie atmospheric music that plays during most of the scenes

Hopefully the DVD will have some solo audio track or something.

yeah, that banjo-ey song was cool

LOL that was funny Impediment,LOL. I expected more from this movie but sadly i wish i went to see The Sentinel instead, it wasnt as scary as i hoped. There were like 3 tgings i liked, the guy with the huge knife, the person being burned and the demond skinning the lady.

The demon ripping that chicks skin off was awesome. To bad he could do that, but not bend a thin metal bar to open a door.

I am a gamer and I have played the games for Silent Hill and honestly I was disappointed at this movie. If any of you have played the games I will say this: The characters they used were AWESOME, they did very well, but as far as everything else I almost fell asleep.
I definitely won't be buying this movie when it comes out on video.

yeah, I thought it was pretty cool

I'd say the best part of the movie was the sound. That, and I loved the transitions between the two worlds. If you didn't like the game, or never played it, a lot of the dialog and stuff (as mentioned) is going to sound very dry, but as a person who's played it, I thought it was gold.

I agree. When the horn sounded and everything went dark, you knew something was about to happen. I hope they do a sequel.

well ive watched it twice already. loved the movie. i give it a solid 8.5/10

although it was nothing compared to the games.

does anyone have any information on the soundtrack for the movie.

I can't wait to snag the DVD.
