Supernova. Make your predictions... (possible IC spoilers)

So this new superhero appearing in 52 called Supernova, supposedly takes over as Metropolis' protector. I've read theories that it's Connor Kent, Superboy Prime, Captain Atom (back from Wildstorm), Breach (that alternate Captain Atom) etc.

Make your predictions on who you think it is...

Kal-L is my guess.

Captain Atom is an interesting guess. Don't see why he'd change his name though. I would have said Kal-L but nova looks rather small in build and Kal-L is rather huge.

captain atom makes some sense. the build is similar, and a supernova seems like the ultimate expression of captain atom's power.

I just noticed that says "Daily Star" on it.

My guess is the Eradicator for now.

I bet its someone completely new.

why would it say Daily Star.

The Daily Star was where the Golden Age/Earth Two versions of Superman, Lois, Jimmy and those guys worked. Hmm...the plot thickens.... However there a seperate Earth One Daily Star which was a competitor of the Planet from time to time. Wonder if they'll be using the original history of the name as something important for the new character Supernova or whatnot.

Yeah, Ollie Queen worked for the Daily Star for a little bit.

I'm liking that Eradicator guess too. He hasn't been seen since the OMAC incident and protecting Metropolis in Superman's absence is something he would do.
