The new thing will be remaking foreign films for America. Already happening with Oldboy, rumors going around that Battle Royale and Audition will be getting the same treatment.

I don't think Battle Royale will get a remake anytime soon. Il Mare has already got a remake, coming out soon with Reeves and Sandra Bullock as the lead, urgh.
