but which marvel characters would be chosen he is my list

Your DC list seems right on, might specify that Martin Stein is half of firestorm. Or I might go with Fire as being the er, Fire elemental.

For Marvel:
Human Torch--fire, quite obviously.
Hydro Man--water, again an obvious choice.
Sandman--earth...obvious.
Texas Twister--wind.

Marvel
Earth- Dust, Rockslide, or Thing
Air- Storm or Winddancer
Fire- Firebird, Firestar, or Torchie
Water- Namor or Nita

apocalypse chose storm, iceman and sunfire to represent the primary forces of nature in his twelve. magneto and lorna were opposite poles representing the earth's electromagnetic field. if you consider that an element, then there's that.

Earth- Magma actually....Molten rock and all.
Air- Wind Dancer
Fire- Fever Pitch
Water- Hydroman
Metal- Mercury

storm would be above winddancer. i'm thinking of the most powerful elementals, now who fits the category better. a few months ago when the magazine wizard did a spread on elementals, they said storm was marvels leading elemental, followed by iceman, then crystal, then human torch., so mine would be

No, Storm controls the wind....Which is not all Air is.

And plus, it's representation of the element, not who uses it the most powerfully.
