Well, given that Apocalypse has full control of his atomic structure, it is possible for him to mimic elements so long as he knows the atomic structure of said elements. I'd be sure to be well versed in arcane materials like Uru and Adamantite (A magical vibranium/adamantium hybrid absorbs extradimensional energies). Apoc does have many cults that worship him around the world. I'm sure there are occult connections he could utilize.

I'd also familiarize myself with the schematics for some very powerful weapons and machinery I could morph my body parts into (rail guns, warp drives, energy emulators, etc). Particularly, I'd morph a body part into a device that bolsters my molecular cohesion and atomic bonds so that attacks from Black Bolt or Magneto (or any other energy/matter manipulator) would be dampened.

Also, hanging around Sinister as long as Apoc has, he has a very well versed knowledge of DNA. Again, since he can mentally rearrange his atomic structure at will, I'd (with Apoc's powers) explore altering the nature of my genes into varying configurations. Most notably, those similar to Jean Grey and the Grey/Summers hybrid genetic configurations which would open many doors in the psionic abilities realm.

There are vast strategic advantages afforded to Apocalypse due to him being a technoorganic metamorph that the writers fail to pursue due to his status as a villain (and due to that premise, a jobber).

Apoc in the right hands should be unbeatable.

Well my rick Jones/Captain Marvel is the Genis Mar Vehl... but the other guy that's captain marvel is the DC one.

Part 1 - Crimson tea and crumpets morose

Wolverine feverishly follows the scent of his target, when with nothing more then the blink of an eye he suddenly comes to a halt, Wolvering grumbles “Hes near, I can smell him.” Dark clouds drift overhead and blanket the open field in a shade of morose gloom.

All is quiet as pale droplets drip from his rough exterior, only the muffled sound of rain drop after rain drop diving into the wet earth can be heard. Crimson hues flash across the air as gray skies thunder above, a cold breeze sails upon the morbidly chilled air.

A figure approaches from the distance upon a steed whose snarl is that of bones crackling; the riders countenance is that of a living shadow, an incandescent glow of charcoal trails behind him like a flowing shade, his body draped in metallic shadows.

The mysterious horse rider abruptly stops about twenty feet or so from Wolverine, with the piercing sound of a crack, crimson light now illuminates the air around, the soft sizzling of water can be heard as the heated evaporation drifts upward. Eyes locked and blades drawn, could this be the end of our hero Wolverine?

What will happen next? Stay tuned true believers!

Vader's stares motionlessly at Wolverine, crimson light saber drawn. For what seems like eons as if time has stopped, all you hear are the faint splashes of raindrops and Vader's sinister breathing. Wolverine abruptly breaks the silence, snarling that he's been tracking Vader for days; for Vader had infiltrated the X-Mansion and murdered Storm by deceiving her with the force that he was Wolverine, he then severed all of her limbs in a slow inhumane manner, and he then proceeded to cauterize her orifices.

Vader informs him that Apocalypse has narrowed his search for the key to ultimate power down to himself and Wolverine. If he bests Wolverine in combat, Apocalypse has promised to grant him the secret of ultimate power known as project 0ku5. If he is defeated, the secret for ultimate power is free for Wolverine’s taking. Vader sternly states that he will do anything to gain the secret to ultimate power, to 0ku5. Vader smugly comments that before he killed Storm, which he throughly enjoyed every long minute of doing so, that he humiliated her corpse in a fashion that even animals would detest to doing so.

Wolverine screams with primal fury as the ripping of flesh echoes through the cold rain as he unsheathes his claws, in a voice drowned in vengeance that hate drips from his very lips with every word, lverine shouts “He told me enough he told me you killed him!” Vader sly replies “Then theirs some thing I must reveal then, I’m your father -- I’m your father, I’m your father – I’m your father”

Adamantium clashes with saber, sparks of fluorescent red fly everywhere as both are now face to face with one another, Wolverine lunges for Vader’s throat, Vader parries and spins, backing away. Foam drips from Wolverine’s mouth as he breathes extensively; his sharp claws glitter in the bleak rays of sunlight reflecting in the rain. Vader rushes forward as Wolverine does likewise, both meet in mid air, Vader quickly parries Wolverines right hand but not before he is impaled by Wolverines left, thousands of volts surge through Wolverine’s metallic claws causing Wolverine to cringe in pain, with a bellow of rage Vader force pushes Wolverine back and sends him flying fifty feet into the cold mud. Wolverine leaps up and dashes for Vader in an animistic rage, a spin and a slash and both stop in their tracks, Wolverine notices his reflection upon the muddy ground, upon further inspection it is his own hand. Wolverine grins as he snarls, Vader watches stoically yet horrified at what he sees; Wolverine’s hand is regenerating before his very eyes. Knowing that he has underestimated Wolverine, he must now reach into the deeper extent of his dark powers.

Wolverine leaps at Vader with ballistic speed, Vader quickly extends his arm toward Wolverine and forms a grip like notion with his hand, Wolverine abruptly halts in mid air 5 feet from Vader’s hand, he reaches for his throat as though he were being strangled by immense force, a crackling can be heard as he dangles helplessly. Wolverine puzzled yet also panicked knowing that if he doesn’t do some thing quickly this may be his end.
