If he can learn that many styles in 15 years Wolverine should be able to learn at least 825 styles in 100 years. If Batman who is not even a full-time fighter/Martial artist can learn that many in only 15 years Wolverine could learn every style on earth, or close to it. At least every one that matters.
Has he learned Baranta? That's a Hungarian martial art. Do you think he's been to Hungary to master that style?
Neither of these guys know every style. I would, however, put them on the same level of skill in terms of h2h.Of course neither knows every style, but Wolverine is still more likely to know more based on his extensive travels and his greater experience.

At least every one that matters.Well Wolverine does know Krav Maga, the official fighting style of Israel’s Mossad or the Israeli Defense Force, which includes the nastiest Secret Service on the planet. Krav Maga contains elements of Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Savate, and several other art forms. It's considered one of the most deadly andbrutal fighting styles on the planet. And guess what else? Krav Maga was originally developed in Hungary-Czechoslovakia. So Wolverine does know some martial arts styles from Hungary. Funny thing about Baranta is, it's an obsolete martial arts style. So why would you even bring it up?

I realize that Wolverine has knowledge of martial arts. I was just replying to something capt wrote. Capt wrote that he knew EVERY style. I was simply replying to that. And I was just going by what martial arts he's demonstrated. I understand everything you're saying, and I agree with it. I was just replying to something capt said. 😉

They've both had their fair share of high end and low end feats. Imo, without claws or a healing factor and without the shield it's pretty even.

This is a hand to hand fight between Logan and Steve without weapons. Without adamantium. And without healing, right?

Assuming Wolverine had his adamantium and healing, then he would take the majority, likewise, without a problem.
EDIT: Oh, and on the topic of chainmail, it matters little in most fights, and VERY little in this one. No chain mail is going to stop a bullet, and it is very ineffective against piercing attacks, chopping atacks, and virtually useless against bludgeoning ones. It only really protected against a slash.
Pointy thing (tip of a halberd, knife, wolerine's claws) would pop the rings like they were nothing. Bludgeoning weapons ignored the rings, because it's not like they really dispersed the force any, chopping attacks (war axes) would just destroy the armor. Most arrows would pierce chain mail. Ehhh....ESPECIALLY in this day and age, its more fashion than anything.
