Have you been ignoring his career?

Yeah. He honestly didn't have really boring matches until TUF. He said he was just taking it easy & that he'd go crazy in the finals when Dana confronted him about his lame fights in the house. I was a big fan of his back in his IFL days.

I had Jones winning, but damn, terrible outcome.

Kimbo training at ATT was the best thing to ever happen to him. He has a bright future. Needs to check leg kicks though, and work on his cardio/conditioning.

edit: And head movement, and boxing.

edit: And wrestling/BJJ'

Did you like the Kimbo-plex? Hendo leaves UFC for Strikeforce!

Beautiful suplex. Kimbo is very strong. No question.

Hendo only has my boy Mousasi to face. WIn or lose, that's all. There's no one else there that makes sense for him to fight.

Woooo did great on the ufc fantasy

Glad Mir won. I like arrogant fighters that can back up what they say. He said he's the better boxer and will choke out Kongo. And that's what he displayed. Knocked him down, choked him out.

I didn't think he'd dominate the standup. KJ Noons & Bobby Lashley have been signed to Strikeforce! Hendo's 1st fight there will be against the boring Jake Shields. Hendo will hopefully finish Shields early. Strikeforce: Evolution on Showtime & WEC 45 on Vs @10pm EST.

Hendo's weakness is Shields strength. Shields needs to implimient the Nogueira style in order to defeat Hendo. Counter strike, take Hendo down, and look for the submission. But is Shields level of BJJ in MMA at the level of Nogueira bro's? I'm not sure.

Hendo via Decision

Hendo via KO!!

Spoiler:
Cung Le got KOed! Wasn't smart to fight a heavyhanded guy for his comeback fight.
Melendez & Thompson had a war!

Oh ya^ Cung was arrogant thoughout the fight, and Smith always plays possum until he gets that one opportunity to land that one shot.

Regardless, it's certainly better than Hendo's.

He does have decent submission defense though. He's only been submitted three times, twice by either one of the Nogueira brothers, and he's fought some pretty good submission guys like Renato Sobral and Murilo Bustamante. He has been submitted by Anderson Silva though, so it definitely isn't and impossible task. Then again Anderson is a black belt in BJJ and Judo though.

Anyway, my point is that it takes a lot to submit Hendo.

Silva was taught by the Nogs, so basically Nog jujitsu is like Kryptonite to Hendo. I honestly don't think Shields should be too much of a problem for Hendo

Cung was owning him the entire fight w/kicks. I kept saying stay at leg's length, but then he got greedy & got in punching range. Speaking of kicks, ya'll see this on Saturday? YouTube video

Hendo was also getting swept on the ground and controlled by Rampage when they fought, and Rampage is only a blue belt in BJJ.

Rampage has great wrestling and had the size advantage in the fight. And, I had Hendo winning that fight.

Wrestling is great for taking your opponent down and pinning him to the mat.

In terms of sweeps, transitions, and positioning for ground grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is utilized.

And even if somebody tried to argue Rampage's "wrestling" ability, just understand that Hendo was an Olympic wrestler.

I gave Hendo the first 2 rounds, with Rampage winning the last 3.

Picks for UFC 108?

Anyone watching the Dynamite!!2009 event I can't get the event hope Mousasi wins his fight I've just found out about this kid he reminds me of fedor

Been talking about Mousasi since his loss to Gono. Been a fan since his loss, plus he's Armenian as I. Anyway, it's a risky fight against Goodridge.

I'm watching the event right now. The opening ceremony was brilliant.

I hear Sokodju got TKO'd glad to hear that. I'm a little worried about mousasi in this fight he admits to having bad training in an interview saying he didn't know who he would be fighting or if it would be k-1 rules or mma until 3 or 4 days ago. He was also preparing for a boxing match on Jan 8 but had to cancle for the show tonight.

Sokoudjou got TKO'd, not the best stoppage, but it was a clean shot.

My boy Mousasi was emulating Fedor's ground n pound. Didn't look perfect, but got the job done. Again, not the best stoppage.

Aoki is a monster on the ground. Brutal submission.

Gono's armbar of Mach was beautiful.

So overall was it a good event?
