I haven't seen enough of Soko to make any judgements, but I heard that Pride never tested for roids or hgh, didn't anyone else hear this? I'm not sure if this is true or I just read some bullshit, it's probally the latter.

Pride doesn't test for substances from what i hear.

Wanderlei has juiced up a little in the past, and he has said this in interviews.

Not sure if Barnett still juices up. Nastula and Belfort are both juiced up and NSAC wasn't too pleased.

as for Sokoudjou, he's always been huge. not sure if he juiced up early in his career. who knows.

loved how all the Armenians were yelling in the background 👆

I don't know what to make of Sokoudjou right now. I kept thinking his wins were flukes and part of me is still doubtful of him, but I guess I have to accept his rank if he keeps winning.

exactly.

Chuck will have a hard time with guyz like Hendo, Silva, Shogun, and definitley Sokoudjou.

what do you guyz think of Sokoudjou? his future in the LHW division. he wont face Hendo, since they train together, but what do you think about Sok vs Shogun or Sok vs Wandy.

That guy is just freaking amazing. When I saw him KO lil' Nog I was shocked in how fast he did it.When he knocked out Arona with ease I about SH*$ myself. He looks real good in his standup.I don't want to make any early judgments, but if he can KO at least one more high calibur fighter I think he will be unstopable.

Anyone hear the bad news about Pride?

Apparently we might never see another Pride event again. They posted it on mmanews.com and sherdog.
Anymore I can't stand sherdog though.I like the fight finder and the coverage, but the forum members ruin it for me.

If Chuck faces Silva or Rampage again, he's gotta correct his fighting stance. He leaves his hands way too low which allows huge blows to his noggin. He might be able to get away with that with mediocre stand up fighters with little power but not with the hard hitters like Rampage.

I've been saying this for a long time. Any world class striker should be able to tool Chuck. Don't get wrong I like Chuck but he is very, very sloppy in the ring.

I smell a lay-&-pray fight.

i agree and disagree.

you're right, top class strikers can have the edge over Liddell, but Liddells kempo/kickboxing style makes his stance and punches unique and unpredictable at times.

But I have always felt that it really is a masquerade. Once you get past the awkwardness of his style, he has little to offer.

😆 I hope you're wrong about that.

What? I admitted he was KOed. I never said the fight should haven't been halted. I just wanted it to be a little more convincing. As in, Chuck not getting up for a little bit you know?

I don't know. It was pretty convincing to me.

Chuck would have gotten seriously hurt if they would have kept the fight going. Thats not good for the sport and definitely not good for Chuck.

Chuck hits hard... It could have just as easily been Jackson on the mat. When you put 2 guys that hit like that in a cage with 5 ounce gloves, someone is going to sleep. I'll still give it to Chuck's chin... Considering the shots he took, he recovered really well.

Not really Rampage has the better fundamental boxing skills which is why Chuck was trying to go for the body. He didn't know how to get past Rampage's defense. Rampage would beat Chuck 9/10.

i disagree. i knew rampage was going to win due to the way he blocks punches and the strikes. (i just didn't think it was going to be so quick)

have u seen Wandy vs Rampage I and II?

the way he blocks Wandy's punches is incredible.

Yup, Chuck is a very one demensional fighter but he is very good at what he does which is why he was able to hold on to the title for so long. It was only matter of time before he got beat.

Chuck (besides Suloev) never faced any serious strikers until Rampage defeated him twice.

Guy was a decent stricker, not the best but he came close to knocking out Silva, and loss a crap decision to Arona...

Even though Liddell won Guy still gave him a few problems....
