well, instead of arguing over differences, why not realise your similarities...like dragging threads off topic? 😛

Because it annoys me quite a bit. I know I am right there and he probably does too. It's just so frustrating.

You're right. Let Bardock rattle like an empty can.

Go back to where I said that I don't think it has everything to do with age. If it did, older would definitely mean smarter and younger definitely means less smart.

I just said I didn't think it always came down to age.

Oh right, I thought you were correcting his statement; he didn't actually say it had 'everything' to do with age, I thought you'd misread him 👆

IMO, it must also be kept in mind that we have a wide age-range of members. That will often affect the "quality of exchange."
And ages, beliefs.......etc etc......maturity levels......blah blah blah...........

But we should talk to Dreamers?

Only if I really exist or maybe even if I don't, cause you can't prove it either way...Life is an illusion and don't EVEN trust your senses....because their an illusion too.

Am I assuming right that you want someone to point out that "nit-picking" would be the right spelling?

[edit] To which you will have a great comeback...or just point out that you were talking about knitting while picking stuff....

Darnit....

Hmm, I'm not sure....it could be some sort of "ad hominem"....it certainly is not "at the thing". Maybe it is "ad shut up you damn knit picker lolz"

I think PVS is right... Attacking a persons grammar and spelling to somehow show that persons point is invalid is "at the man"...
I think...

"at the man"?

I don't understand.

ad hominem means "at the man".
discredit/attack/insult your opponent and you discredit his point,
regardless of any truth in their statement, or so the strategy goes.
