So it's god like cable versus full potential Apocalypse , haha. At his best Apoc was taking on Loki (who get's thrashed by anyone) At cables best he was beating on surfer.

Cable recently said that Apocalypse cannot die. He will live forever, on and on... and Cable will have to fight Apocalypse forever.
He said he will never be able to kill Apocalypse but to stop his plans.
Apocalypse was always mentioned as dangerous, even God-like Cable said the most dangeorus what could happen to Earth (but is still not living up to that name, not living up to as what writters making him in words).

Cable repersents good of mutantkind and it's hope where as Apocalypse represents the bad of mutantkind evil given physical form. the two must be in constant battle. for good cannot exist without evil and vice versa.

I would say if Apoc was written as he was first shown then he could take god-like Cable. When Apocalypse first came around he was able to stand up to Blackbolt unlike in the recent House of M story and pound on the Juggernaut.

Cable was made as Sinister’s living weapon to defeat Apocalypse.
If we go by their own powers no out side powerups.
God Like Cable would Beat Apocalypse.

But if its Mister I want to collect the strongest mutants and add their power to my own.
Apocalypse FTW.
