dc vs marvel

If you're talking about the Earthbound guys, duh...DC wins easily. Factor in the cosmics and the mystical entities who are all supposedly omnipotent, and Marvel wins. At least from what I've read of both universes.

I don't know, DC's got some pretty uber cosmic entities as well. The Presence, Spectre, Lucifer, Michael, Ion, etc...

True, but doesn't Marvel have more? Everytime Thanos of Titan decides he feels like taking over the universe, we're blessed with all of Marvel's cosmics on panel at the same time, begging LT to do something about it. And it's normally like 40 guys.

I just named a few. There are MANY MANY more of them. Mr Mxy and the entire 5th dimension for starters. 😄

Ok so someone make a list of every DC superhero / villian and then a list of every Marvel superhero / villian. Then compare them all to each other using a number system 1-10. OK GO!

Yeah. Somebody have fun with that.

Let's start with Wolverine, and Superman.

It seems to me that DC has a lot more characters:

I'm not sure about that.

Check out the DC list and then you'll know what I'm talking about. 😉 It's the first one of the posts that I have.

That first page in Marvel was only A to C. I'm not about to argue over which has more people in it, they both have a lot. Also, Marvel has Wolverine, DC loses. 😱 💃 😆

...And with more characters, more than likely brings more cosmic entities into their worlds. More than likely, DC has more cosmic-level beings, we just probably have never heard of them before. They get cast into the shadows of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc...

Yes, I know. I posted both of their character line-ups. It appears that DC has a lot more.

I have no clue. Both have so many obscure characters that they bring out of the woodwork for no reason but to job.

Yes, but my point is that DC probably has more cosmic entities than Marvel, we probably just don't know about many of them.

I have no clue. How many characters are in DC's 5th dimension, Lantern Corps, Apokolips and New Genesis? How many does Marvel have from the Norse gods, Greek gods, Celtic gods and Beyonder's realm.

DC has the Norse Gods, Greek Gods, etc too.

Like I said, I have no clue. I'm into comics but not enough to know all of that. Those areas are beyond my experience. But this thread is too vague and open for interpretation. Plus I forgot about the Shazam, Black Adam, Captain Marvel characters.
