What's the point of moving it when it existed here already? I can't merge threads in here, so then I'd have to move it here, report it, and then wait for a global to come and merge it, and cause a lot of hassle for everyone.
Or I could have just closed the one in the wrong forum, redirecting everyone to the one in the right forum.

I wasn't a mod back last July. So no, I wouldn't have necessarily known about your thread existing because it wasn't my responsibility.

Well, why close the one in the correct forum?
As I explained already, I can't merge threads in here. And instead of wasting my time and the time of another mod, I elected to simply close the one that's in the wrong forum. End of story.
And arguing mod decisions in public is very poor form.
