Note that he had been fighting for weeks straight against monsters down there. It's gotta be some time, considering that Danny clean shaved before they went down there and by that fight his beard is long as hell. And he was STILL able to beat that crazy being. I'll see if I can dig up any scans of his other figths down there.

I was wondering about that. So that makes twice on panel that he utilized chi blasts.

Iron Fist, shows amazing skill, and speed, when he easily disposes of Mister X himself!

Iron Fist, shows incredible strength when, without even resorting to Chi Amping is able to damage Luke Cage, and then proceed to put him down in a single blow!

Iron Fist defeats Luke Cage once again!

Note: He was holding back in the second fight.

He can easily reverse the effects of brain washing by using his chi, and has even cured cancer through the same method!
