Dusty:
+ Nice background brushing
- But almost completely wiped out by white-ness
+ Contrast works nicely for the render. I like seeing the color of her eyes
- Looks like her head-band thingy is on fire at the end.
+ text hicky
Nice sig, a bit too whitewashed/contrasted for my tastes. But this is nit-picky. Still a great sig.
Lana:
+ Beautiful background design
- Kinda went the other direction...it's a bit too dark. Add up both sides of darkness and its probably 1/3 of the sig.
? Border? {edit} oh sorry, it's there...I didn't see it at first, had to look at it with a different program.
+ subtle, appropriate text
+ Not sure if it was intentional, but there's some of sort of 'bronzing-look' to the render....like she's been tanning or something. Might just be a natural side-effect of the dark sig, but it's cool.
Also nice, but same problem as Dusty, just with darkness instead of contrast.
Somewhere in the middle would have probably been ideal for both of you, though I realize that you were going for different feels to your sigs and that the lightness/darkness is a natural offshoot of that.
