In the first movie it was so obvious something would happen at the end. It wasn't as brutal as i though. It was just the binocular vision. But i knew something would come up to lead to a sequal.

The idea doesn't sound too great either. I know alot off people did like the remake. I for one found it quite bland and un-orginal. It was graphic though. But the death's were fairly similer. I mean about three people died due to headshots and another from a gunshot wound.

I'm intrigued to see where they go with the sequel [Sorry i have a spelling issue with that word. Lol.]. I think the first movie had a heap off potential, it delvered in a sense. It just didn't pull out anything new to the genre. It was basically just another TCM or wrong turn showboat.

I hope they don't show a shot of the corpses of the three survivors from the first film (ala Saw 2), otherwise it'll make me mad to think that the whole first movie, and their fight for survival, was all in vain. I'd be happy with either the new movie not showing anything about them at all, or conversely even including them again, maybe even joining with those soldiers or something.

I really liked the remake of the first film but wasn't happy with that ending though. Have seen a teaser for the sequel and looks strange, the pulling of the camera was cool though.

Yes!! I loved that movie. There aren't many horror movies where the main person goes up against the killers in a one on one fight and come out on top. The fight scenes where amazing! I loved it. Can't wait for number 2.

I bought Hills have eyes remake on DVD from eBay for a quite a good price and I must say it's the best damn DVD I ever bought got this movie rocked, it's my fav movie of all time. I will definatly see the sequal, I know there are new characters...I guess the others died or something judging by the ending.

The Re-make was actually quite good, not as good as the original, but a fun movie.
I'll be 1st in line to see #2

The remake to the first one surpassed the original in sooooo many ways!!!!

think the remake was a good remake compared to some of the shit coming out, plus iwas quite pleased that one of the main characters stood up for himself and went on a rampage rather then all the pussy footing that you normally see in these kind of films when everyone is so bloody pathetic.

I never thought this was a scary type of horror.
