Cosmic Zemo is crazy powerful right now. And he and the TBolts have no reason to go easy on most of the heroes they're going to be hunting down, which is no doubt why the government tapped them for the job. The TBolts have the most to gain (pardons for past crimes, legitimacy in the eyes of the government and public) and the least to lose (they all already have criminal records, so what does it matter if they register?) in this Civil War. They're going to be anxious to prove themselves, which just makes them more dangerous.

depends on what you consider "confirmed." on panel, in the comic, speedball was referred to as "deceased." sounds like confirmation to me. the only problem is that the source was a civilian news anchor, or at least a pundit, and since a body wasn't shown, and brevoot made no mention of him being dead [or of which new warrior would be on the run in front line,] it's still possible the speaker didn't know what he was talking about.
excluding what may or may not have been evidenced in that interview, speedball is understood to be dead in the comic.
I agree, Cap was amazing.
It will be interesting to see what will happenw with Spider-man in this series, as we all know he is the most conflicted character. I used to think that he would start out on Iron Man's side out of a need to repay his debts, and then switch over to Cap's, but now i'm not so sure... Overall, I hope he goes to the rebels' side, as would be best befitting the character.
Either way, his power and ability- trumped by few- could tip the balance in favor of one side or the other, though it's unlikely there will be a winner in this thing.
Also, at the bottom of that interview, is it me, or does Patriot get mowed down?

Spidey will surely fight with the rebels in the end, going on what he said at the meeting.

Speedball has that kinetic energy shield around him and I don't understand on how that explosion killed him. The blast from the explosion probably sent him off flying through the atmosphere before the heat of the blast could actually kill him. He'll be back.
Speedball's powers are untapped potential. To bad he's an idiot and too stupid to realize it.
Nitro is that same guy that caused Mar-Vell to die right? I'm pretty sure Mar-Vell contracted cancer from this guy.
