Some of Lucifer's feats:
- Against the Silk Man, an entity that existed before the current universe was created, Lucifer altered the rules that let the Silk Man exist in the current universe so that he was banished from it.
- Survived the "detonation" of Michael when he was killed for the first time. The energy was enough for Lucifer to create a multiverse from it.
- Shaped his universe: formed suns, galaxies, concepts like time, life, and so on.
- Created a soul for a demon as a punishment so that the demon would become a damned soul instead of being extinguised by death.
- Folded the letter of passage through space and time so that it appeared on every world in the original creation.
- His presence destroyed the Mansions of the Silence (a realm where souls that didn't belong to Heaven or Hell went).
- Turned Elaine and her friend Mona into guardian spirits (basically gods for a world without gods).
- Destroyed the Titans who took over the role of God by killing them before they became God.
- Destroyed his duinum, a copy created by the Titans whose touch would cancel them both out.
- Killed Michael while infected by Fenris.
- Killed Fenris. An additional feat by Michael that I thought was cool was that he maintained Creation after Yahweh left by rewriting Yahweh's name on every atom of creation.
If this guys so powerful, why put him against a character with such a limited power set? Why not against someone in his league like TOAA?
The "God" the Saint killed is hardly the same as Yahweh from the Lucifer comics. The Saint could shoot at Yahweh until the universe ended (or Yahweh lost his patience) and not have any effect.
Lucifer and Michael are described as Yahweh's children and together have more than enough power to create a multiverse. The Saint being able to kill either of them seems unlikely.

I'm not sure the Saint could kill him. Meleos (the angel who created the Basanos) says this about Lucifer: "For he is older than the Angel of Death, and greater." If the Saint's the Angel of Death for the Preacher-verse, he might not be powerful enough to kill Lucifer.
Characters dialogue doesn't make an accurate or correct measure of another Characters powerlevel.

You say being able to survive a nuke is impressive, Lucifer survive a demiurgic explosion capable of creating a new universe. You say, Lucifer can do nothing without time; Lucifer is above the concept of time.
🙄 These people just dont get it sok is going to lose in a big way.

yeah but jesse custer wasnt a mind controller GS he was the voice of the god of his comic he wasnt just a guy who could mind controll being the voice of his god is like way above just being able to mind controll, he was suppose to command ANYONE and they would do what he said sept if they couldnt understand him, or they where insane, or they where deaf so a normal mind controller might not have any effect since jesse wasnt normal by any means but by definition of the comic he was in the second strongest being in the preacherverse, and i do remeber somewhere on here that lucifer has been killed, hasnt he like being burned up inside, if he and micheal are equal how come micheal can be killed?
Jesse was possessed by Genesis, not the Preacherverses supreme being so youre wrong on that account. By means of his voice Jesse could command all who could hear and understand him to abide by his will. Thats a form of mind control regardless of the means in which its achieved. Jesses Custer was the second most powerful being in his comic universe. He housed a power that was a threat to the supreme being, however Jesse could only employ said power by means of his voice. His abilities were extremely limited and on top of that he still had human reactions and durability and yet he still punked SOK. Lucifer actually wields a supreme beings power so its completely feasible that he could mind control SOK. Otherwise he could just end the battle with BFR as SOK never demonstrated flight or teleportaional abilities.

Jesse had 'The voice of God' ergo it was as if God was telling you to do something . Mind control usually involves some form of resistance, their is no resistance against god.

I read and have all of Preacher. Jesses power stemmed from Genesis. Genesis was NOT God. It was a demon/angel hybrid unique in creation, it broke the rules and as such was a threat to the supreme being. Jesses power results in the domination of ones will in accordance to Jesses own. Mind control. 😉

it cant have been mind controll could it? I mean if you didnt have hearing it wouldnt work, if you didnt understand it wouldnt work, if you where insane it wouldnt work, does that count as mind controll?
His will was dominated on hearing Jesses voice. His mind was controlled. Dont get caught up on the way in which it was controlled, it was controlled nonetheless. Mind control doesnt have to be achieved psionically, we've also seen it achieved through pheromones for example a la Purple Man.
