Gambit vs Beast

Beast has been dodging stuff in Danger Room since he was fifteen. I see Gambit having very hard time hitting him.

Gambit doesn't have to hit him, just come close to hitting him.

Agile wise they're close enough where there's no big advantage...Strength goes to Beast.

I think Gambit can dodge and stall long enough to take Beast down. 6 or 7/10.

Has Gambit come close to doing anything similar to what Beast did to the living Danger Room thing? Beast's enhancements & feral instincts combined with a genius IQ gives him enough to win the majority to Gambit...

Beast...Much faster IMO

I don't know about much faster...Faster maybe, but not by much....After all, Gambit has dodged bullets and Hawkeyes arrows before.

Gambit isn't a slouch in the speed/agility department himself...

This one shows his precision with his cards, and his speed/agility.

Hm. Tough call. I say Gambit. Beast is fast, but it doesn't have to be direct hit.

Here's my question, what's the setting?

That's what I said before....He just has to come CLOSE to hitting Beast.

But good question...Where is this fight?

In this fight, the setting can make all the difference.

Let's say they fall out in the Savage Land.

Fight starts off with them 50m apart.

*edit*
Oh, and they still have their mutant powers, I just wanted a jungle type setting.

50 meters apart? Gambit wins.

Well, in a jungle Beast's powerset gives him a serious advantage, though generally the two are pretty evenly matched.

Btw...I don't think that hitting somewhere near Beast will do Gambit too much good. Beast is superhumanly durable, don't forget that!

Do you know how many cards Gambit can get off 50 meters away? Beast is durable, but not enough....Gambit is agile enough where he can stall long enough to the point where hitting somewhere near Beast will do Gambit some good.

I'm definitely with wannabe on this one. Beast is superhumanly durable, agile, quick, fast, with both superhuman reflexes and healing factor. I think the 50 meters will be closed quite quickly by Beast, with him dodging all the while. A non-jobbing Beast will definitely put an end to this fight quickly.

agreed gambit is fast and agile, but not superhumanly like Beast.

Well, Gambit is superhumanly fast and agile. Just not anywhere as much as Beast is.

full power template enables him to charge any organic or inorganic object within his line of sight, manipulate the potency of the bio-kinetic energy to cause various effects such as burning, molecular discomfort, or incineration, and utilize the advanced levels of bio-energy active when he uses his powers to augment his strength, agility, endurance, and reflexes, for short periods

Okay then, in that setting, I'd have to say Beast. If they were somewhere where there might be flammable items around, I'd say Gambit. But Beast has the clear advantage here. And hitting near beast won't get Gambit what he needs.

Haha, Gambit could be uber powerful I know. I'm talking about the regular Gambit everyone knows and (not always) loves.

lol I know, I just wanted to show that he could only augment his agility, endurance and reflexes for short periods.
