Wrong? No. He did say that. I confused the beat with the lyrics and I will put my hand up and say that was my bad. I don't particularly listen to diss tracks.

nope man...

im talking bout the beat, not that "h to the izzo, m to the izzo line"

Fair enough, apologies. I read the line wrong. I've heard the song, but not nearly recently enough to name the beat.

I'll assume this is some kind of thread where we can put out questions, so here's one that should test the memory:

LL Cool J had an infamous "beef" with an MC over something in this MC's album sleeves. Who was the MC, what was in the album sleeve and why did LL get pissed about it?

-AC

wait...

let somebody answer my shit first, then we can do your Q... i wanna see if the hiphop thread regulars know the answer to the question

so be patient

you got the number 2 spot my dude

Yeah I didn't mean to shove your Q off or anything.

I just dug out the old song, it was one of my choices but obviously, someone else has a chance.

Canibus?

I don't know the answer for the 2nd question.

Nah, older.

-AC

MC Shan?

Kool Moe Dee. "How ya like me now".

LL was pissed because the jeep was seen to be crushing his trademark Kangol hat.

VERY close, not correct.

P.S. Youre old homey!

P.S.S. We'll win tonight! Holla @ ya boy!

I never heard the Stillmatic freestyle but if I did I'd have definetely recognized the Paid In Full beat.

😕 Really? I could've swore that was it. The only other possibility I can think of is perhaps MC Shan.

No, it HAS to be Kool Moe Dee. I remember when that shit first came out, ey.

I'll give you a massive clue. It involved this MC rating OTHER MCs including LL on a scorecard.
