Technology is advancing in magnificent ways for music, but with that comes the punch of illegality. It happened with home video too.

Not to say we have to accept it, but just accept that it will exist. It's a shame.

I'd rather go out and by a CD than sit on the computer and download to my hearts content. There's something more personal for me having the disc in my hands.

Of course, I completely agree.

I also like hanging around in music stores, rather then just sit at home watching at a screen...

I don't trust those kind of services. For some reason.I'm paranoid.

I never understand why.

Millions upon millions of people use Amazon, me included.

I don't really understand it myself either.Money is the biggest issue I guess.
But I do like going to a record store. There is this little one in the middle of the city, which almost nobody knows about. It breathes music.I just like being there,I guess.

Yeah. I like the older stores that have the latest music but still have that old musty atmosphere, with old hard to find classics and vinyls.

Before I started using Amazon, I did used to spend ridiculous amounts of cash in record stores. I loved just walking around and picking out CDs to the point that I couldn't hold them properly, haha.

I still do go to record stores, but the deciding factor for me, was ironically the money. I bought 38 CDs in HMV once, then I looked them ALL up again on Amazon and realised that I could have saved about £100. Much better. Especially if you order from Marketplace.

ha me too🙂

Likewise, only original and paid for CD's in my collection. Not that is it very large, but hell, someone has to keep the market alive.

I know how you feel.

I like the actual CD better than an mp3 download from the internet.
I buy the actual CD cause I like the album art and stuff 😊 and it pays the artist. And If I like a band enough, i want it to keep making good stuff.

Same for me, and also I like being able to touch/see the music I buy.

😊 Yep. But the music industry is already going to hell 😬

But hey, what is your musical taste? Might be of some help choosing new purchases

Yeah, I don't understand downloading one or two songs from a band that you claim to be a "fan."A real fan IMO would go out and buy the hard copies.

I like anything really from jazz to nu-metal and death metal to country or hip-hop.

I guess anything goes then.
