didnt see the end of that game, but it wouldnt be a suprise that the refs altered it.
Seattle tried as hard as possible to lose to the rams. They played no defense on torry holt during the game. Just let him score every time he wanted. THen they shank a short FG off of not 1 but 2 uprights. THen they finnaly get the lead and have a chance to ice the game and morris fumbles. THen they decide to once again not cover holt so he can go 70 yards and take the lead back.
But somehow they start a drive with 1 minute, no timeouts, from their own HALF yard line. Get in FG range, Holmgren makes a great playcall to let mack strong center the ball and pickup 1 more yard, before spiking it to kick a nice 49 yarder. THen they get a penalty.. great this is when i thought the game was over. But somehow Josh Brown makes a 54 yarder (i dont hate him so much now.. but still a lot) and seattle wins and uber nail biter. Great comeback from down 21-7 vs their biggest rival.
side note. KC is being anal raped, call 911

There was one bright spot LJ's hair tackle on troy polamalu.. 😂
I feel so bad for Matt Leinart SO BAD for him, he deserved this win, he went out there and did what he was supposed to do.
I wouldnt call for Greene's job, he didnt fumble the ball, nor was he supposed to block the defender who sacked Leinart when he fumbled. James couldnt gain 1 yard! 1 YARD, ridiculous if you ask me. And last, he didnt miss the game winning field goal. Fire the kicker not the coach.
Its fuuny because I keep getting made to look like an ass when it comes to Matt Leinart. Its been all about premature celebration, when he was said to start, call all my friends and boasted, last wekk he threw 2 td's in the first quarter, did the same thing, and now tonight.a
the play calling is my problem. With 9 minutes left ur running the clock out? ok this semi makes sense if you have a run game that works at all.. and if your pass game is struggling. but none of that was true so they were using a minute of clock and givine the ball away with no chance of scoring or even moving the ball on offense. Then with 3 minutes left you start going deep? ok this is generally when u would want to try to run the clock..
Finaly Leinart leads them down the field, yes they got in FG range. But still.. rackers has struggled and Leinart is on fire and making good choices. THey also have time outs and time on the clock.. so why run 2 dives up the middle on 2nd and 2 for no yards and just settle for close to a 40 yarder? thats just totaly unintelligent. Let him keep moving the ball with the pass game. Maybe he gets a TD if not at least let him keep moving a struggling kicker closer.
its just pathetic to let them make up 20 points withouth the offense scoring a point.
Those last two runs werent even up the middle, James ran it to the left both time and I was thinkin what the hell is that?...I know I didnt call it here, but I told some friends over the weekend that Leinart was gonna give the Bears a run for there money, I knew the Cardinals were gonna put up a fight and I was rooting for them in this one,I even had a feeling they were gonna win but what a shitty way to lose, Great performance but the Bears D tho, sucked the momentum right out of the Cardinals.
I would say "Wow," but it's this dagger-shy concept that we've come to expect from this team. I'd hate to be at Cardinal practice after they watch the game film, but then again, it probably will resemble most practices in that circumstance over their abysmal existence.
And sure enough, a few knuckleheads will be creaming over this team next August...once again..."'cause they got [insert player here - next year the name will be Leinert], man! He's gonna take them to Super Bowl XLII!!!!"...without realizing a losing attitude all starts at the top and spreads down to the fans and players and coaches like a pestilence.
Charles Barkley in the booth was right. When they were up 20-0, he said all Cardinal fans and players were scared. Theisman (I think it was him) said, "You're up 20-0 over the Bears!" - but if you think about it, I know EXACTLY where Barkley was coming from, and he was dead right. You can't afford to have that attitude in the NFL, and unfortunately for them, they have always had it.

This still pisses me off lol.
Anyway....Man I thought the Cards were gonna pull it off with Rackers =/

There almost at that corner, there gonna turn it sooner or later, my guess would be sooner than later. I'd say within the next year or two. Now I'm not predicting they're gonna win any superbowls, but Leinart has a winning attitude and as long as he plays well like he did with the Bears, that attitude is gonna rub off on the players and eventually they're gonna win some ballgames.
like so many other teams.. until that O-line gets it going the team has no chance.
another great page 2 article about the cards loss
