So, the Redskins traded Archulata to the Bears. Reading the article and I didnt relize that he had the highest contract for an safety.....wow, thats **** up. Why the hell did the Bears trade for him.

he couldnt cover an afl WR last year. However it was a good deal for both teams. His contract was huge so it was killing the skins having him, and he wasnt even gonna start anymore. Bears only gave up I think a 6th round pick, and got him to redo his deal to like 8mil over 3 years. Also Lovie was his D coach in STL so they already have a relationship. Bears paid a low price and skins got to dump the contract.

I didnt relize he restructered the deal.

Another big trade from the Bills.

Takeo Spikes and Kelly Holcomb for Darwin Walker.

Wow, Eagles have done well to solidify thier weak LB position. Only if Spikes doesnt get injured again, or hasnt lost a step. He is 30 with hamstring and achilles injuries.

Redskins are offering their #6 pick for the Bears #31 pick and Lance Briggs. Really I see no way the Bears can turn it down at this point.

Yeah, get somebody or lose somebody, I would say get somebody out of the draft, even if he doesn't compare to Briggs.

So it seems the Bears said no deal. I dont see how they could of turned that down unless they are gonna offer briggs a new contract.

NFL decided on 32 compensatory draft choices and Baltimore and NE got 4 each which is a lot. NE is already a team that has had a good off season. They have 2 first round picks thanks to seattle and now a bonus 4 picks in rounds 3-7. I hate to say it.. but its lookin like NE could make a strong run at the super bowl again.

its based on your net loss in unrestricted free agency. NE actually gets 1 in the 5th, 2 in the 6th, 1 in the 7th. Ravens got much better ones getting, 2 in the 4th, 1 5th, 1 6th.

Where is Lance Briggs going? Isn't he being traded to the Redskins?

As of now he is going no where. The bears are not happy about how the deal came about (going public before it officially got to them) But they will likely still make the deal.

Yea a little late but a great signing. I think the bills are trying to lose every game in 07, thats the only thing I can figure.

Not sure who all they lost, likely a lot of no-names, but they did lose graham, and banta-cain. Anyone else think starwars when they hear that guys name?
