Dont like either one of these teams.I hate to pick against manning and the colts since its in indianapolis and they beat them last year when it counted, but the truth is the patriots SHOULD have been in the superbowl last year and would have been if they had had Randy Moss last year.Randy Moss would NEVER have dropped those two easy as hell catches in the end zone that hit that receiver right square in the stomach that brady threw to that reciever they had last year who had been cut previously by the chargers for obvious good reasons and got cut from the team after that last year.Moss has made this team practically unbeatable and since they SHOULD have beat them last year if not for that receiver,got to go with the patriots.

That receiver was Reche Caldwell, and here's my take on that.
His first drop in the 3rd quarter meant nothing, because they scored a TD on the very next play.
His second drop came in the 4th quarter, and it was a major factor in the outcome. However, I put 99% of the blame on Tom Brady. Here's why. It was 28-28, and New England had 3rd and 7 from the Indianapolis 10. Caldwell lines up to the right, and Indianapolis doesn't cover him! Brady's back there in the shotgun, takes the snap, and fires a sideline floater to Caldwell. By the time the ball gets there, even if Caldwell would have caught it, he wouldn't have made it past the 6 yard line. Brady should have made an audible, or hell, waved his f*cking hand and said "Hey, run to the end zone" (Why not? No one was covering him anyway). He could have hit Caldwell in stride at the 2 yard line, where Caldwell could have walked into the end zone. A huge mental error by Brady. They had to settle for a field goal instead of what should have been an easy touchdown. And they lost the game by 4 points.

well I still think that if they had had moss last year instead of that idiot caldwell they would have won the game because moss is a playmaker and unlike caldwell can make things happen.
And if the Eagles had Owens a year earlier, they wouldn't have gotten beat by the Panthers in the NFC championship. Just another what if.
How you guys feel about the Pats running up the score? Up 38-0 and passing, going for it on 4th, throwing deep bombs to Moss, I'm surprised they didn't kick an onside kick. They are just asking for it, I wouldn't wish an injury on anyone, but they are REALLY asking for it.

caldwell couldnt control how brady threw the ball on that play.
ABout running up the score, there is no such thing in professional sports. THe game is over when the clock runs out. THe only way a team should stop trying to do everything possible to scoer is if the other team quits. There have been plenty of crazy comebacks in the world of sports there is absolutely no point in trying to not score. Also for example the 4th and 1 where they went for it, that is great practice for a situation where they may need a play like that to win a game. You can only practice things so much in practice and the ability to do it in a real game can be very valueable. Yes players can get hurt but they werent playing all their stars 60 minutes. I have no problem with what they have done and lets all be honest if they really wanted to they could have put 70+ on a lot of these teams instead of 40+. This isnt little league folks there is no mercy rule.

The way the Pats were playing one would think they had a vendetta with coach Gibbs. They have nothing to prove, many people consider them to be the best in the league. I honestly think they're doing it so Brady can break the touchdown record. I have never seen a team continuously throw it, go for it on 4th down and have starters in well into the 4th quarter up by that much. Has a team ever come back from a 38-0 deficit in the 4th to win it or tie it? Has a team ever come back from being down 45-0 in the 4th? Was there any signs of life from the Redskins all game?

the saints were trying to run the clock out. When you can complete 75+% of your passes a short pass game can be a very effective tool for clock management, especially when your RB core is hurt. I am not going to fault Brady for taking what the defense gives him. I am 99.9% sure that the TD record has nothing to do with the play calling. If they really wanted Brady could be at 40 TD's by now, and even coming out of the game in the 4th quarter multiple times he is still on pace to SMASH the record.

That's why I think they're both ****ing assholes. People can say all they want about how players paid by the millions shouldnt get all mad by this but thats retarded. They only say that because they're Pats fans.
Lord Evo is completely right. That's why they're running up the score. They hated it when people complained and called the Patriots cheaters because of the taping. Know ****ing what!!! They ****ing cheated. There is no rumours that they cheated, but actual proof.
Another tidbit that TMQ said was why the Redskins didnt start going into all out blitz and try to **** up Brady, or atleast give him a good hit so they take him out. I wonder why.....I would of done, especially considering Washington has two heavy hitting safeties. I would of done is keep those two safeties off and just let the WR catch the ball and hit him while he's busy catching the ball.
But maybe Gibbs has class and doesnt do that, but Brady and Belicheck are complete assholes. Hopefully, the Colts beat them so all the cock sucking and ass pocking by Brady to the media stops.

Agreed. Does Tiger Woods start intentionally shanking shots when he's 15-under and the next closest guy is 3-under? Their bad scores aren't his problem when he's paid to perform at the highest level.

As for the Pats running up the score if this were High School or College I would agree that it was sinister but this is the NFL!
It is a business where you don't have entire groups of underclassman you are trying to bring up and develop. It isn't like the Pats care about their second stringers or worry about them being game ready come the playoffs or that they have young studs they want to get playing time for next year.
It is simply a business where normal edict just doesn't apply. Now one thing I would say is they were an idiot for keeping Brady out there for so long in case he got hurt although the odds were unlikely seeing as the Pats line was winning but still you don't take that chance.
You take out your key WR, QB and let your defense win the rest of the game especially if they are pitching a shut out.

I'm not expecting the Patriots to not score another TD by running the ball. If Washington cant tackle, then its their own fault, but they were still throwing 20 yards deep in shotgun spread, and then going on 4th down when the score is over 40, and then when scoring another TD, most teams and most players with respect would not pump thier fist, celebrate widely.
