Just read a super-relevant article about how Ochocinco plans to celebrate if he scores a TD against the Pats. He's going to grab one of the Minutemen's rifles and fire it.
I love this idea. It's a perfect opportunity for one of the Minutemen to load that sucker up, fire at the charging assailant, and claim "self defense."

Let's think for a second.
He got released but he outplayed Warner....
I don't get that line of thinking. If he thoroughly outplayed Warner (a guy who took them to a Super Bowl), why would the Cardinals release him when they wanted him to be a starter?
You would think if he thoroughly outplayed him, he would still be on the team as the starter.
But why would I be thinking that? You clearly are the most unbiased Trojan's fan ever, and probably still thinks Jarrett and Mike Williams are not busts.

First of all, Warner is retired. Somebody is out of times.
His competition was Derek Anderson, who played like his usual crappy self in the preseason and was somehow elevated to starter, despite Leinart outplaying him. I think this decision was about either money or personal feelings, or both. That's all it comes down to, because it doesn't really make sense to lose your job to someone who you are outplaying.

Anderson definitely sucks, I agree this wasnt about who was better, but they simply did not like each other at this point. Having already traded for whitehurst it seems less likely they would add leinart.
