But it's still surpraising that the Vikings are sucking since they improved thier defense. (Well maybe not).

Thats true, but Culpepper has to get it going though. If Culpepper doesnt throw 5 interceptions, the Bengals probaly wouldnt have had 37 points. The Vikings had lke 8 turnovers all togehter. IMO its kind of hard not to score 37 points when your oppenent turns it over 8 times. If Culpepper would have had maybe only 1 or 2 interceptions, and we only had 1 fumble, then i think the Bengals would have had maybe 21-24. Then the Vikings have 4 extra drives if you take away 3 interceptions and 1 fumble, so that 4 drives right there that continue and who knows what would happen. Culpepper throwing all them intercptions really messes up the offense and the defense.

Yeah, but I can't see Culpepper being this bad though. And if somebody say's its because of Moss, should get shot.
Moss was amazing, and it definitly helped. But Culpepper is still pretty damn good.
Its the run game thats screwing him up.

Yeah but the bengals led 27-0 at half time with no interceptions lol..well maybe 1, but I know at least 4 were in 2nd half.

I was right, they did lose.
God damn it.

Weird game. Redskins can't score to save their life then BOOM two touchdowns just like that. Brunnel isn't what he used to be but damn that guy still throws a beautiful long ball.

that was crazy that the skins won. even after those 2 TD's Dallas should have won. 2nd and 4 on the skins 42 with about 2 minutes only down 1 point.. that was sad that dallas didnt win. Horrible play calling.

This week's uniform analysis (this should be required due to the overabundance of putrid fashion this year):

Thumbs way, way, down on the Giant's uniforms which looked like something bought out of a Sears Catalog.

And of course, thumbs up to teams like the Steelers and Packers and Cowboys (oops, nevermind), who never change theirs.

Week 2 standings for ugliest uniforms:

1) Detroit's black "We're tough now 'cause we wear black" uni's. At least they could lose this past week with pride in their traditional blue ones.
2) NY Giants' Sears Catalog specials
3) Arizona's Arena League Knockoffs
4) Cincinnati Bungles. Hard to believe they're not higher than #4, but the season's still early. I'll bet in a few weeks they'll add pink strips to those snazzy trousers of theirs.
5) Cleveland Clowns. Just wait until they bust out the all-orange attack.

On a footnote, I think the Bill's retro attire was a great exception to this rule. Anything to keep them from the Arena League approach that the Falcons, Cardinals, Bungles (whew, I'm out of breath here) and Broncos have taken.

would you lay off detriot and there uniforms, it's just a uniform, and there not even THAT bad.....what is it with you and the uniforms?, it's the NFL, it's not a fashion show

Don't tell ME it's not a fashion show, you should tell the owners. Tell me honestly if being a pathetic doormat was one quality the Bungles and Cardinals shared prior to the Arena League change. The Cardinal's organization even admitted that they hoped the new fashion uni's would establish some sense of confidence and somehow make them play better.

So if has nothing to do with fashion, then I rest my case because there would be no need to change.

Back to real NFL talk:
Worst 0-2 team in the league: Green Bay Packers.
Best 2-0 team in the league: Pittsburgh Steelers
Team on the (fast) rise in the league: Cincinnati Bengals
Team on the (fast) decline: Baltimore Ravens, and it could get even worse relative to where they were picked in the preseason. San Diego will be alright; they just have a bit of a hole to claw their way out of.

its NOT a fashion show, you're talkin about the bengals and cardinals, they are looking for anything and i mean ANYTHING to try and have a descent season, that includes changing uniforms, its more about supersticion than fashion, it may have to do with marketing which is somewhat fashion but not completely, teams aren't changing uniforms so that joan and melissa rivers (and yourself) can critique them, but if thats your thing than thats your thing

LOL! The Cardinals, at 0-2, are definately well on their way for a season of "descent."

I think colts are best 2-0 team

now a little flip WORST 2-0 team: Redskins.. i was tempted to say giants, but the redskins offense is just sooo bad.
BEST 0-2 team: San Diego

I agree with bengals being on the rise, and TB is playing incredibly well.

A few interesting stats...

QB rating:
1. Ben Roethlisberger, PIT 153.6
2. Drew Bledsoe, DAL 112.3

Rushing Yards
1. Carnell Williams, TB 276
2. Willie Parker, PIT 272

Points a game:
1. Giants (34.5)
2. Bengals (32)
3. Steelers (30.5)

Points given up a game for D:
1. COLTS (5)

something random, LT has NOT caught a pass yet. and he is only averagins 3.3 yards per cary.

One of the only things that makes sense is that Randy Moss and TO are the receiving leaders.

Seriously, i was watching the postgame stuff from redkins.com tv and gibbs looked like a kid on christmas, that was a found win. Brunell still does have the arm, maybe they need to throw the ball long a couple times earlier in the game

well gibbs hadnt beat parcells in around 20 years, gibbs hadnt beat dallas in 14 years, dallas had beat the skins 14 of the last 15 games. The skins hadnt had a tuchdown yet this season until those 2. And it was IN dallas, and they inducted 3 cowboy greats into the ring of honor that night. So for gibbs and skins fans, this was HUGE i live in MD, and so many of my friends are die hard skins fans and they were going crazy. They all looked like kids on christmas.

Too bad Skins are awful beneath that 2-0 Mask of deception....

I happen to like the Bengals uniforms lol. Call me crazy.
Like the black better then the white though.

here is my week 3 predictions...
Atlanta at Buffalo - Buffalo rebounds and wins this one. If losman does not make mistakes.
