A little late on this one, but...Hines Ward finally got his!
QUESTION: Is it wise for the Packers to go 16-0 in the regular season?
Here are some reasons I think it's a BAD idea:
*I want the Pats to be the only team to do that.
*By going 16-0, the Packers would be under tremendous pressure to win the next 3 games in the playoffs, and anything can happen in the Super Bowl.
*In order to win the Super Bowl, they would have to win 24 GAMES (dating back to last season), which is quite exhausting.
*And while it is unlikely, there is always the possibility of injury to Aaron Rodgers or another key player in the final games of the regular season.
Any thoughts?

Well, the Pats are not the only team to do so.The Dolphins are the only team to go undefeated and win a Superbowl in the same year. The difference is that it was 17 games, not 19.
Oh I know about them. I was just referring to the team since the 16 regular season games were enacted.
Imo, The packers wont do it either. Atleast I hope not. I think Rodgers is twice as arrogant as Brady, and prob is a better qb. But 16+ playoffs...no. And seriously, I can see McCarthy playing him till the end of the regular if there still undefeated. The pack imo has become the cowboys of late. Everyone hates them

The MVP award talk should be ignored on the most part. The MVP is typically an overrated award in most major sports but in the NFL even more so. If you're not popular at that time and a quarterback, running back or a placekicker named Mark Moseley; you don't really have any chance of getting it. At least in the other major sports it seems a player from any position or team has an outside chance to win it.
