dante might be out the entire year.. i gotta admit i didnt even know brad johnson was still in the league. philly looked awfull still, skins were back to thier old selves, bucs showed everyone what i have been trying to tell them, they are NOT that good, and the 9'rs arnt that bad (remember the cowboys and the rams when they played them) Jags were a big let down losing to a very busted up rams team. and how did the bengals barely escape with a win in a game that shoulda been a blow out.. if that D didnt make some great interceptions it woulda been 28 - 21 GB in the biggest upset of the year. oh and Steve Smith is just sick
I was watching the Bungles/Packers game when that fan came on at the end of the game. Naturally, they wouldn't show a replay, but when I saw it it made me go, "WTF?" At first I thought it was a trainer, but then I knew it was some dude stealing the ball from Favre. I'm not sure what else to make of it, but it sure as hell woke me up!

It's probably more of a question for the bungles. It would be difficult for the steelers not to get a playoff berth with the Ravens (twice), Packers, Browns (twice), Vikings, Bears, and Lions all waiting around on the schedule.
(uh,oh, I spoke before the game tonight...don't want any jinxes here or anything like that) doh

i agree re: the raiders. LJ is doing it for them right now. as long as the D can play well enough to keep the game close, Lamont can run and the offense will follow.
Vikings = ❌ and 😐
Eagles = ❌
I really can't see them going to the superbowl if thay make the playoffs, let alone winning it. Mcnabb's hurt, and he'll only get worse, maybe not much worse, but still. And if he gets the surgery, then all the games he misses could knock the Eagles out of the playoffs with the way the Giants and the reast of the division is playing. Madden Curse anyone?

Well if Greenbay stops the run (they have the 10th ranked run Defense), they have a good shot at it. Unless Favre plays boneheaded again. Fisher is a decent RB. But this game will have to be won through the air for GB. They still have Donald Driver, bubba Franks, and Favre.Also the Steelers dont have Ben Roethlisberger...and I dont know If Charlie batch is capable of throwing to win if they have to.
Biggest Dissappointment - Vikings hand down. At Least they won something this year... (meaning winning this "honor"😉
Biggest Surprise - I'd have to say...The NFC East. Overachievers! =) Also the Buccaneers...but looks like their fortunes are fading.
MVP - Hard to say.. here are 5 candidates in no particular order
Ladainian Tomlinson - He does well they win! Is that not the definition of MVP?
Carson Palmer - He can take the Bengals to the playoffs. This guy is one of the best QBs in the league.
Edgerrin James - Having a hell of a year.
Bronco's Offensive Line - I mean Jake Plummer is thriving on the Play action bootlegs, the Two Running backs are kicking ass...and the Line is what makes it happen.
and also...Antonio Gates....He is AMAZING. Might be more suited for Offensive player of the year though , rather then mvp.
Defensive Player of the Year - Kinda hard to say...I like Dwight Freeney...also Corey Simon has been tremendous. but how bout the CB Tandem of Tory James and Deltha O'neal? 8 games in and they account for 10 interceptions.
Rookie Offensive player of the year - At First it was looking like Caddillac Williams...but Now its Ronnie Brown
Rookie Defensive Player of the Year - Odell Thurman - 4 int's, 1 td, 1 sack, 2 FF, 2 passes deflected, 32 tackles, 12 assists,
Biggest Story - vikings Sex Cruise! Lol
Best Game played so far - Week 1 New Orleans at Carolina (who wasnt rooting for the displaced Saints?)
Biggest Dud of the year (game) - Cincinnati Vs. Pitsburgh - SHOWDOWN OF AFC NORTH! Sputtered after the horrible call by the refs to overturn Chad Johnsons TD catch...then Chris Henry Drops a sure TD , and they miss the FG. Turns into a boring game. I was there and heart broken, not only cuz cincy lost, but because they barely put up a fight.
Biggest Surprise Game of the year. - Who would have thought that Washington and Dallas games meant something this year? lol Philly might just be the worst team in the NFC East now. Weird!
Funniest Moment - The moron at the Bengals/Packers game that ran on the field and grabbed the football from Favre.
Best Game (not yet Played) - Either Colts and Bengals, Bengals(if they show up), at Pittsburgh or....Colts and Broncos in the Playoffs! (I hope!), heck maybe even colts at Seattle! Although nothing will top 49ers and Texans!!! The Game where the loser just might be the winner...of the overall #1 Pick of the 2006 Draft! Brady Quinn going to Houston? Or Matt Leinhart? I personally think Carr is a good QB, just has nothing around him. Lets wait and see!!!
Best Offense - Denver
Best Defense - Bears
Winner of Superbowl - Dont know...here are some names that pop to mind..Colts, Broncos from the AFC or....Giants, Seahawks from the NFC.
Sleepers for "making " the Superbowl (if They improve on certain areas.) - Bengals, Chargers, Steelers, Buccaneers, Panthers, Falcons,Cowboys, and....im gonna throw it out there based on the Defense + RB formula...its a long shot, but The Bears are in the hunt too.
And thats how I see it...btw dont take the Sleepers to heart...I dont think any of them will make it, but they have a shot. =). Although the Falcons might have the best shot of the bunch.
