Actually yang (During kaihou) and juni (During mach slide) move so fast they vanish, Ibuki leaves after images, hell makoto and dudley move in streaks so I doubt that they can't move in super sonic speeds.

the anime of Street Fighter Alpha is the correct way how the ''street fighters'' fight. and there they were weak, so you have to think they are 15 to 20 years later.
