Brand new The Prisoner

A friend of mind sent me this bit of news

British TV channel Sky One today confirmed plans for a big budget remake of cult 1960s classic The Prisoner, with former Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccleston expected to take the lead role.

Can anyone throw some light on this one? 😕

I am fan of the original show it's great. 😄

That's about all there is on it. I understand that it's not just an update, it will be a full remake- like the new Battlestar Galactica, a re-imagining of the original ideas.

It is hard to see it being as unique as the original, but the signing of Eccleston is good news, certainly.

Sounds interesting I shall have to keep an eye out on this one. 🙂

What has to be remembered is that there are good re-imaginings, like Battlestar Galactica, and really bad ones, like the newer Planet of the Apes.

Good point it's a case of wait and see let's hope it dose work OK.
