They're pushing Black Adam as far as possible, without putting him back into villain territory, which I hope doesn't happen. He's most interesting with this Namor-like quality of being on his own side, consulting with others just when necessary.
Still, this alliance isn't looking good. Joining with China is one thing, but those crazies in North Korea and Myanmar? Good can't come of that, though Adam raises good points to the Lanterns about America using the world as it's personal battleground. Hal & John may work for the intergalactic corps, but they live and are based in the States. There is implicit ideas about who you represent...
Maybe Adam will lighten up a bit, if this rumour of love is true. 🙂
