Realistically though, Heat vision power > Thor durability.

Neither character was used to full potential in that x-over. Neither character was in kill mode.

I think her durability works like this:

Small things that pierce, do pierce her skin just like anybody else's. Hence, the bullets. But large blunt objects that can't penetrate her skin, she takes with god-like durability.
