Oh,your probably not going to want to hear this but she's right. If you really want to be the best at what you do and be the best out of the best of everybody, you got to work harder than everybody else to succede to be the best and that includes having to give up going out on friday nights with your mates.Sacrifices have to be made to get what you really want out of life so she actually only has your best interests at heart.thats why famous sports figures are famous and the best at their postions because they work harder than everybody else to get what they want.
Yea, I know what it takes to be a top athelete Mr Parker!! I've seen people succed and also fail!! Its just I don't think I won't to put everything on the line, for one sport, i don't want to give up my who childhood; or most of it, miss out on things that won't happen again, to find out in the end i can't make it. I can't make it all the way!! Thats what Im afraid of. I might train hard, and that!! But in the end it doesn't really come down to how much i train, how much i want it, who deserves it, its up to how much the other person's trained, and what happens on the day!! Anything might happen on that day, and my whole training and everything I've given up rests on that day!!
