1. Iceman only lost his second mutation, but still had his primary so technically he never lost his powers
2. Unknown, all we know is one person survived and apparently it's Speedball.

...but wait, Speedball's alive? I guess it would make sense because Spidey's supposed to fight him next month. But the dude on the news in the issue said something to the effect of "I know it's not nice to speak ill of the dead, but here was a kid (Speedball) that probably didn't know the name of the President."

Apparently, but we don't know for sure and with his powers he had the highest chance to survive. Plus there is rumors he will become the new Masked Marvel
